Former CEO says CIA responsible for bringing down Rauma-Repola Oceanics
submarine technology firm
USA opposed exporting hi-tech equipment from Finland to Soviet Union
- Submarine technology firm Rauma-Repola Oceanics
was shut down in the 1980s because of pressure from the CIA, claims Tauno
Matomäki in a Metallitekniikka magazine interview.
Matomäki is a former CEO of Rauma-Repola, and was Chairman of the
Board of UPM-Kymmene until his retirement in 2001.

The "official" explanation for closing the shop, namely the empty order
books, was false information. Matomäki feels it is the moment to
set the record straight now that the times have changed. Rauma-Repola's
submarine undertaking was in contravention of the U.S. ban on the export of hi-tech equipment
to the Soviet Union during the Cold War. Finland never actually signed
the export ban. -
Rauma-Repola managed to build and deliver two deep-sea submersibles, Mir
I and Mir II, to the Soviet Union. Oceanics was created in
1983 and disbanded soon after the Mirshad been delivered in
1987. -
Matomäki believes the Americans would have used severe
politico-commercial sanctions against Rauma-Repola had Oceanics
continued in operation. -
"We were given the names of companies that had not adhered to the
Americans' recommendations. Without exception all these companies had
gone bust", Matomäki says. -
According to Matomäki, he and other executives of Oceanics were
called several times to be heard by the Pentagon. The President of the
United States George Bushsent a letter concerning the
submersibles undertaking to Finnish President Mauno Koivisto.
Koivisto mentions this in his book Kaksi kautta(Two Terms). -
In his reply Koivisto had stated to Bush that the Finnish government
could not interfere with the legal enterprises of private companies. The
American Embassy in Helsinki was aware of the submarine project right from the start. At
first it was ignored, because the Americans didn't believe the Finns
could produce a mini-sub capable of diving to six-kilometre depths. -
They were wrong. The experiment was so successful, Matomäki
believes, that without the American interference deep-sea technology
could very well have become Rauma-Repola's main field of operation. -
"We were shot down in mid-flight", Matomäki says to Metallitekniikka.

There would apparently have been a market for the Oceanics products.
The two Mirsare still the best deep-sea submersible vessels
ever made. They were, for instance, the first ones on site when the
Russian nuclear submarine Kursksank in August 2000.

watching sitcoms or their favorite team vanquish its opponent. Recently
it seems to this reader that they have added another sport to their
list for viewing: POLITICS.
They sit watching the nightly news and CNN's drumbeat to go to war, and
they munch away on their high carb addictions and consume their favorite beverage as the
agenda for the take over of their country passes by on the screen,
clearly spelling out a "real agenda" which carries with it
a totalitarian system of government being implemented in their back
yard.
How much longer will Americans consider POLITICS a spectator sport?
How much longer will they play the part of spectator to the following

A United Nations report which blames Israel for causing starvation in Gaza and the West Bank has prompted a furious diplomatic row with the Israeli government of Ariel Sharon.
The leaked report by Jean Ziegler, a Swiss sociologist and UN special envoy, blames Israel's security policies for "collective punishment" of the Palestinians. Ziegler spent 10 days in the occupied territories in July and was due to present his report to the UN General Assembly in New York on November 18.

Attack on children's cartoon sex guide

A cartoon booklet showing primary school children how to pleasure
themselves sexually was published yesterday by a Government-funded
charity.
The controversial guide includes a cartoon of a girl apparently
masturbating in the bath, and says it is "totally normal" to be attracted to people of the same sex.
The controversial guide There are also diagrams showing where the
clitoris is in the Family Planning Association leaflet, entitled 4You.
Teachers, family values campaigners and educationalists said the
guide was inappropriate for its target age group of nine to 11-year-
olds.

The United Nations is investigating a report that a ship chartered for peacekeepers in East Timor is also being used to bring child prostitutes to the island nation, the organisation said today.
The allegations surfaced over the weekend in the Portuguese weekly Expresso. The Expresso report said UN personnel were involved in bringing girls from Thailand to East Timor as prostitutes.

I was extremely outraged when I saw the Mossad's symbol and logo on website

As a Jew, I never knew that the Mossad even had a logo and symbol. I felt that
the logo on your website was an example of fascist propaganda against us the
Jews degrading our heritage. I saw it as the a good example of Hate Crime against
us and very racist and anti-Semitic.
Before writing you an angry letter, I did a search on the Internet, and to my
horror I verified on many other websites that this is the real logo and symbol
of the Mossad. I am enclosing a more clear Mossad symbol which I found on the
Internet. The reason that I was horrified was the logo which is absolutely supporting
most of the stories that I heard recently about the Mossad, and as a Jew, I
refused to believe it before.

The following timeline describes just a few of the hundreds of atrocities
and crimes committed by the CIA. (1)
CIA operations follow the same recurring script. First, American business
interests abroad are threatened by a popular or democratically elected
leader. The people support their leader because he intends to conduct
land reform, strengthen unions, redistribute wealth, nationalize foreign-owned
industry, and regulate business to protect workers, consumers and the
environment. So, on behalf of American business, and often with their
help, the CIA mobilizes the opposition. First it identifies right-wing
groups within the country (usually the military), and offers them a deal:
“We’ll put you in power if you maintain a favorable business
climate for us.” The Agency then hires, trains and works with them
to overthrow the existing government (usually a democracy). It uses every
trick in the book: propaganda, stuffed ballot boxes, purchased elections,
extortion, blackmail, sexual intrigue, false stories about opponents in
the local media, infiltration and disruption of opposing political parties,
kidnapping, beating, torture, intimidation, economic sabotage, death squads
and even assassination. These efforts culminate in a military coup, which
installs a right-wing dictator. The CIA trains the dictator’s security
apparatus to crack down on the traditional enemies of big business, using
interrogation, torture and murder. The victims are said to be “communists,”
but almost always they are just peasants, liberals, moderates, labor union
leaders, political opponents and advocates of free speech and democracy.
Widespread human rights abuses follow.

| The secret "shadow" government is the large organisational
network which operates alongside the officially elected and appointed
government of the United States of America. Just as with the official
government, the secret government has functional branches.

Just as with the official government, the Shadow Government has functional
branches. However, unlike the official government, the purpose of the
non-executive branches of the Shadow Government is simply to distribute
various functions, but not to achieve a system of checks and balances,
as was supposed to happen constitutionally between the executive, legislative
and judicial branches of the U.S. Government. That is because the Shadow
Government is a creature of a powerful elite, who need not fear being
dominated by an instrument of their own creation.
In the Shadow Government five branches may be identified. These branches
are: the Executive Branch, the Intelligence Branch, the War Department,
the Weapons Industry Branch, and the Financial Department.
The reporting lines of the Intelligence Branch and the War Department
to the Executive Branch are straightforward and obvious. Intelligence
exists to provide the Executive Branch with sufficient necessary information
to make adequately informed policy decisions. The War Department exists
to provide coercive force to carry out Executive policy decisions which
could meet with public resistance. The Special Operations units within
the Intelligence Branch and War Department exist to carry out policy
directives requiring covert action and official deniability.
The Weapons Industry Branch reports to the Executive Branch most often
indirectly, through the War Department and/or the Intelligence Branch
(for Black Budget weapons systems).
The Financial Department theoretically reports to the Executive Branch
for fiscal policy implementation, but de facto also reports directly
to the international power brokers who have created the Shadow Government.
The Financial Department serves at times directly as their instrument
of fiscal policy implementation.
An analysis of the overall purposes of these five branches suggests
that the overall purpose of the Shadow Government is to exercise covert
control by:
- Collecting comprehensive institutional and personal information
- By establishing national and international policy independently
of the established Government
- By developing high-tech arms and equipment, and, with these, establishing
small, specialized, highly mobile, elite military units to effect
these covert policies, when need arises, without having to rely on
the official (and "unreliable") Armed Services, (whose subservience
to the Shadow Government is reasonably suspect)
- By developing an armed capability to repel any threat to the status
quo, (including the uncertain ontological, social, and economic impacts
of any revelation of the reality of UFO and extraterrestrial presence)
through the development of a Star Wars/BMDO ground and space-based
surveillance and SDI weapons network
- By denying information compromising to the Shadow Government from
all those outside "need-to-know" policy-making levels
- By exercising control on the money supply, availability of credit,
and the worth of money, through policy decisions made outside of the
official Government

Most people are concerned primarily with maintaining their place within

that take place in the world might not seem to affect them. These things

on radio and TV, actually have a direct affect on their daily lives.
