Since we still have our 2nd Amendment, and all of the acoutrements that are attached and associated with it, we must now use the 2nd Amendment rights to protect and insure the survivablity of the First. Such was the reason and intent of the 2nd.

A reaction that simply means we may have to use arms to insure that the First is secure and inviolate Otherwise, we, too, will succumb to the wiles of the Talmudists, who now see the conclusion to their Protocols about to be closed and they win...and get to set up the long sought goal of their Talmud: World Dominion.

Another view, this time a contrary one, to help confuse things even more.

There are certainly many dried-out oil-wells and water-injected dead ones too, that have not replenished themselves and nothing on or in the Earth is "infinite" so this person's information is not completely truthful, but some of it is worth consideration. In this world of liars it is difficult to trust anyone's opinion except Father's.

Also, it is not so very long ago that Russia's planes were all grounded for lack of fuel and they were asking/begging for help from American oil-companies with know-how and equipment to help them develop their oil-fields and now this person says they are suddenly the world experts and way ahead of the Yankees (?).

With the green-house effect and melting ice-caps, having an "infinite" supply of oil would make things much worse.

In 1970 the Russians started drilling Kola SG-3, an exploration well which finally reached a staggering world record depth of 40,230 feet. Since then, Russian oil majors including Yukos have quietly drilled more than 310 successful super-deep oil wells, and put them into production. Eating Oil was the title of a book which was published in 1978 following the first oil crisis in 1973 (1). The aim of the book was to investigate the extent to which food supply in industrialised countries relied on fossil fuels. In the summer of 2000 the degree of dependence on oil in the UK food system was demonstrated once again when protestors blockaded oil refineries and fuel distribution depots. The fuel crises disrupted the distribution of food and industry leaders warned that their stores would be out of food within days. The lessons of 1973 have not been heeded.

In Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, Robert Pirsig tells the story of a South American Indian tribe that has devised an ingenious monkey trap. The Indians cut off the small end of a coconut and stuff it with sweetmeats and rice. They tether the other end to a stake and place it in a clearing.

Soon, a monkey smells the treats inside and comes to see what it is. It can just barely get its hand into the coconut but, stuffed with booty, it cannot pull the hand back out. The Indians easily walk up to the monkey and capture it. Even as the Indians approach, the monkey screams in horror, not only in fear of its captors, but equally as much, one imagines, in recognition of the tragedy of its own lethal but still unalterable greed.

Pirsig uses the story to illustrate the problem of value rigidity. The monkey cannot properly evaluate the relative worth of a handful of food compared to its life. It chooses wrongly, catastrophically so, dooming itself by its own short-term fixation on a relatively paltry pleasure.

It's the understanding that the most dangerous aspect we face is not really the state of the resource itself -- the actual "Peak" dates or depletion rates, or any of the physical realities of oil supply/demand -- but rather the reaction in the oil markets upon realization that the issue no longer even important.

In the span of 4 years it extracts more than one cubic mile of natural gas from the formations directly at what ended up being the epicenter of the Aceh earthquake. The gas field there has been producing for much longer than four years, and is one of the largest such facilities in the world.

I have been asked, by one of my students, to write something about the Indonesian earthquake near Aceh and the tsunami it created, and its possible causes, and so have; now that sufficient time has passed for you all to see and hear all about it; decided to make some comments on it.

Obviously the first comment to make is that it is one of the prophesied signs of “The END Times” and that they (earthquakes) are becoming more wide-spread, more frequent and more severe as we get closer to “The END”. So you can expect them to get even more-so as we get ever closer to “The END”:-

There has been speculation on the Internet that the earthquake near Aceh was caused by man, through sonic-surveying of the area looking for new oil-reserves, causing whales and dolphins to beach themselves because of the intense pain it causes them, and/or a nuclear device, or HAARP.

Whilst any or all of these causes is quite possible, there is also another more probable and simpler possibility that could very easily have caused this earthquake and many others around the world.
