Tuesday's History Channel program on 9/11 Conspiracies ­ Fact or Fiction shows how powerful our movement has become, and how contemptible our opposition is. The deck was stacked, the animations were distorted and fantastic, and the framework was rather nasty, but this was, of course, NBC News (read General Electric) which is now a hedge fund in drag. And even NBC News, often the slimiest of the networks, has been forced to pretend to refute numerous factual criticisms of the official story, one by one. I say pretend because most of the refutations were simply blanket denials, with no facts or reasoning beyond mere assertions that the 9/11 truth theses are not true, offend the families, are disgusting, or "corrosive," and other meaningless verbiage...

On August 20th 2007 a "Program" aired on GE's History Channel titled 9/11 Conspiracies - Fact or Fiction. Word had already leaked out that this was a laughable hit piece centered around Popular Mechanics. (Hearst Publishing - synonymous with Yellow Journalism, and already guilty of using the tragedy of the USS Maine to inflame patriotism to wage a war with Spain in 1898, the same Hearst Publishing who holds a controlling stake in the History Channel via its stake in the A & E Television Network.)

Having watched many a History Channel Documentary I am quite familiar with their format. Raise the charges, er... "conspiracies" - then give the shills, er... "experts" the final say poo pooing the evidence and theories. Case closed. (Posner reference intended)...

If you watched the History Channel '9/11 Conspiracies' show last night, you may have noticed how right off the bat they went for the old guilt by association method of associating truthers with the practically nonexistent "Jews did it" crowd. What you may have missed is that in the end of the segment they do a slow zoom into a website in an "evil type way", with the implication it was a truther website, which says "JEWS DID WTC" and flashes Stars of David, the twin towers, and other 9/11 related pictures. The history channel is so desperate to slander 9/11 truth that they actually attempted to link the movement to a ridiculous ytmnd parody site! Talk about desperation!...

I watched the History Channel program "The 9-11 Conspiracies" and it was one of the more wide-ranging 'debunking' efforts so far. This is a good sign. One guy ludicrously dropped 'theory' from its normal place in the epithet, and would just talk about the conspiracies abounding on the internet- 9-11 Blogger's not laundering drug money is it? They even brought up Mineta's testimony, about which Coburn from Popular Mechanics had no flippant response to other than wishing there would soon be some official response to it. We all know that there won't be until there are indictments and summonses....
