Running before time (limitations of) took our dreams away
Leaving the myriad small (minded) creatures trying to tie us to the ground (physical)
To a (an unspiritual) life consumed by slow decay (Gal 6:8)

The grass was greener (in heaven)
The light was brighter (2 Peter 1:19)(Koran 86:1-4)
With (real) friends surrounded
The nights of wonder

Looking beyond (through) the embers (prison bars) of bridges glowing behind us (Rev 3:7)
To a glimpse (memory) of how green it was on the other side
Steps taken forwards (towards heaven)(TWH*) but sleepwalking back again (falling back)
Dragged by the force of some inner tide (listening to Satan)
