Israel's war on Lebanon is an integral part of a US sponsored "military roadmap".
The war on Lebanon, which has resulted in countless atrocities including the destruction of the nation's economy and civilian infrastructure, is "a stage" in a sequence of carefully planned military operations.
Lebanon constitutes a strategic corridor between Israel and North-western Syria. The underlying objective of this war was the militarization of Lebanon, including the stationing of foreign troops, as a precondition for carrying out the next phase of a broader military agenda.
Formally under a UN mandate, the foreign troops to be stationed on Lebanese soil on the immediate border with Syria, will be largely although not exclusively from NATO countries. This military force mandated by the UN Security Council is by no means neutral. It responds directly to US and Israeli interests.
Moreover, the timely withdrawal of Syrian troops, following the February 2005 assassination of former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri has contributed to opening up a "new space". The withdrawal of Syrian troops served Israeli interests. The timely pullout was of strategic significance: it was a major factor in the timing and planning of the July 2006 IDF attacks on Lebanon.
In the aftermath of the Israeli bombings and the "ceasefire", UN Security Council Resolution 1701, drafted by France and the US in close consultation with the Israeli government, has paved the way for the militarization of Lebanon, under a bogus UN mandate.
The Next Phase of the Middle East War
Confirmed by official statements and military documents, the US in close coordination with Britain (and in consultation with its NATO partners), is planning to launch a war directed against Iran and Syria. US Ambassador to the UN John Bolton has already initiated the draft of a UN Security Council resolution with a view to imposing sanctions on Tehran for its alleged (nonexistent) nuclear weapons program. Whether this resolution is adopted is not the main issue. The US may decide to proceed in defiance of the Security Council, following a veto by Russia and/or China. The vote of France and Britain, among the permanent members has already been secured.

I've had such days, many of them through encounters with Emerson himself, but never have I been startled or even remotely surprised by anything belched out by the Barbie and Ken assembly line of today's corporate mind-control media.
George Orwell wrote that people who neither read nor ask questions will ultimately lose all desire to question "Big Brother." What is so frightening as we descend into the new world order fascism is not that we no longer read -- it's that we no longer can read.
Researchers estimate as many as 30 million Americans -- many of them college graduates -- cannot read. They're unable to comprehend news stories or even instructions. They said they were "stunned," but could offer no explanation for the steep drop in literacy. I don't know what's more depressing -- that Americans can't read or, after studying the phenomenon, researchers lack the critical skills to discern why.
Today, as in Orwell's 1984, the sound and fury of Big Brother's repetitive visual stimuli has apparently crippled our ability to think critically. If it's not on television, it isn't happening. Often sincere, honest talk radio personalities and show hosts cannot make sense of the news they see and hear. Many will state this on their shows. Why is this? They are striving to fit shocking current events and new laws they see into the paradigm they were raised with and believe in. No one can remotely hope for any new wisdom to flow into their cerebral cortex, by trying to drive the square peg of today's control paradigm into yesterday's round hole of Constitutional law. Everything happening today is quite far outside the paradigm they knew while growing up.
The bulldozer work on America's freedom is all part of a carefully planned and scheduled demolition. You can't build a new home on a piece of property with a burned out house, unless you bring in the bulldozer first to clear the land. You can't bulldoze an occupied home without first disarming and kicking out the occupants. This is effectively taking place right now all across America, with freedom and free speech under daily assault. The puppeteers are disarming Americans mentally first, and then physically later IF they can get away with it. One more major attack will give the government the excuse to finish the job.
With interest, I read you article regarding border/travel policy changes coming in 2007 for Europe.
You may know, we in the U. S., are suffering a virtual onslaught of illegal immigrants.., estimated in the millions annually. Has this to do with Washington, DC policy? It would appear so being as the border states governments claim there is nothing they can do.
I have spoken to U. S. Border Patrol agents [who would not say a word {for fear of losing their jobs} unless they remained anonymous] "off record". They are frustrated. They claim their work is no more than an exercise in futility. They "capture"/detain illegals, document them and send them back only to see the same faces 2 days, 2 weeks or 2 months later. A literal revolving door policy.
Now I am hearing it has gotten worse.., the policy has become "catch and release".

In recent years I have heard (relatively) new phrases like "cognitive dissonance". I wondered..? what exactly does that mean? So I looked it up. This is what I found:
Cognitive Dissonance: Cognitive dissonance is a psychological phenomenon which refers to the discomfort felt at a discrepancy between what you already know or believe, and new information or interpretation. It therefore occurs when there is a need to accommodate new ideas, and it may be necessary for it to develop so that we become "open" to them. Neighbour (1992) makes the generation of appropriate dissonance into a major feature of tutorial (and other) teaching: he shows how to drive this kind of intellectual wedge between learners' current beliefs and "reality".
Beyond this benign if uncomfortable aspect, however, dissonance can go "over the top", leading to two interesting side-effects for learning: ? if someone is called upon to learn something which contradicts what they already think they know — particularly if they are committed to that prior knowledge — they are likely to resist the new learning. Even Carl Rogers recognised this. Accommodation is more difficult than Assimilation, in Piaget's terms. ? and—counter-intuitively, perhaps—if learning something has been difficult, uncomfortable, or even humiliating enough, people are less likely to concede that the content of what has been learned is useless, pointless or valueless. To do so would be to admit that one has been "had", or "conned". END

Devvy and MOST aware people in this country truly believe our problems have been caused because we have drifted away from the U. S. Constitution and to cure our ills.., we have to return to it.

Last night I tuned in the nightly national news on ABC. I rarely do this but, with things developing as quickly as they are, I am starting to consider monitoring the mainstream news more closely. We are being "noticed"/warned.
For months I had been hearing/reading about the trouble in which General Motors finds itself. Last night, ABC reported GM will be closing 9 plants which will effectively evaporate 30,000 jobs. Workers at the OKC facility were in shock as was Oklahoma's governor. Three more plants are to be closed in Canada. Reportedly GM has lost billions this past year and their credit is now "junk".
The report continued saying, Ford will be making similar announcements, soon, also. How far behind will be Chrysler announcements?
This, of course, was/is disturbing news as it was once said, "As General Motors goes.., so goes the country." Lee Iacocca [former president of Ford Motor Co. and former CEO of Chrysler] said of GM.., "it is so large, it is a country unto itself." [Iacocca has recently come out of retirement and has been seen doing national TV commercials for Chrysler/Daimler.]
Like a footnote.., it was added; old, established companies [paying high wages to long-term employees and massive retirement/pension plans {including medical}] CANNOT compete with the new companies [that do not have these debt/burdens -{ never mind foreign economies}].
But more disturbing to me was ABC's report at the end of the broadcast regarding China.., specifically what is being taught in public schools.

FEW know they are BEINGS/spirits/souls "locked" in human, animal bodies [that will die and be "recycled"] and are here suffering the consequences of their/our WRONG CHOICE [i.e "The Fall"/rebellion to God].
I have been a product of this culture/society and I understand we are the "sum total" of our experiences. I understand I was "programmed" to believe in a god [taught by STATE religions] and country and the U.S. CON-stitution. But I am also a SEEKER and basically.., NOTHING made sense to me in this life. Purpose..? what did that mean? I knew I hadn't found it for all my searching. And just whose god was it being sold to me [that I NEVER bought] wrapped in "christian religion"?
On October 16, 2004 President
Bush signed into law the Global Anti- Semitism Review Act. It
establishes a special department within the U.S. State Department to
monitor global anti-Semitism, reporting annually to Congress.
This is more "Hate Crimes"
legislation, orchestrated by the international Jewish religious,
educational, and fraternal organization, B'nai B'rith,
and its Anti-Defamation
League. The new "Department of
Global Anti-Semitism" is designed to make critics of Israel not only
into "anti-Semites" but ultimately into "domestic terrorists."
