Google as Data Miner
You might say, "Yes that is the function of Google", but you would be thinking about web pages and not web surfers.
This article deals with the fact that Google is about to do an IPO (Initail Public Offering of stocks), expecting to raise between 15 and 25 Billion$, and points to the danger of Google becoming an Orwellian Big Brother, because it collects information about which websites users visit and is said to hold on to that information, seemingly forever.
Just one more thing to worry about :-)
