Apollo II

Their demeanor is very strange. What is going on?

bad conscience?

To me they, especially Neil Armstrong in the middle look very nervous and depressed, as though having a very bad conscience? Is it for having to lie such a huge lie about going the the moon?

Moon debunking

Thanks. I've embedded the clip into your comment.

It's very interesting but I don't spend much time looking into the moon landings. There isn't any reliable material to investigate. Some very interesting telltale signs that things aren't as they seem are the occult freemasonic illuminati symbolism, rituals seen in the NASA mission names, times, logos etc and the fact that many astronauts are freemasons.

Many comment that the pings could be their antenna on the backback. The second "ping" at -1.30 looks more like damage on the film to me, and interestingly you can see a "ping" on an antenna like protusion on his backback just a split second before it.

It really looks like they are dangling and slow motioned.

I just viewed some interesting clips on YouTube that seem to debunk some of Bart Siebrel's theories from "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Moon".

What comes to my mind is that in this sick ultra-interconnected conspiratorial world of secret societies I don't see it impossible that it's all a charade where both parties work towards the same goal, just as is the case with "the never ending war against terror".

No conspiracy

I was born in 1956, and I followed the space race as soon as I could understand there was one, some time in the early 60s.  I watched Armstrong step onto the moon when I was 12, and I watched what he did after that too, which it seems the people posting here didn't do.  It's one thing to speculate years after the fact, when you didn't see it all happening in real time.  You don't have the details that come from that process.

Armstrong has never made a secret about being uncomfortable being the spokesman for one of the most momentous exeditions in human history.  He deliberately didn't participate in very many events, observations, etc. after landing on the moon, since he was afraid of becoming a cult hero, and wanted to make sure everyone at NASA received proper credit, not just him.  He was very committed to the idea that the moon landing represented an accomplishment for all of humanity, not just himself and his crew, and he was really very worried about whether he could convince people of that--he didn't want to make one mis-step in his approach, for fear of being largely responsible for the public's perception of the moon landing becoming something weird and cultish.  I can tell from his demeanor, that he's feeling the pressure of this inner struggle--we're seeing him work out, in real time, that worry, and how to present himself and the event.

And for all we know, something might have been happening in his life at the time, besides the moon landing, or that happened between the time they got back, and this news conference, that we're not privy to, so he may have had other things on his mind.  That might sound strange, but you really need to take the time to understand human psychology better, and to study the details of history, including the ones I just outlined, since the truth is in the details.  I doubt very much that anybody commenting here was aware of what I just pointed out, about Armstrong making a deliberate effort to be self-effacing.  Also, just because he was the first human to set foot on the moon, doesn't automatically make him a good public speaker.

Armstrong vibe

Wow...appears that Armstrong has a "gun to his head" in this speech. I really don't see any reason for this type of behavior except for the possibility that he is terrified of saying something or inferring to something that he will be punished for. The guy should be in his glory and he appears to be scared to death...Despite the comments of his being "shy" about his role, he was an officer in a branch of the US armed forces, a pilot, who probably led a squadron, and he is acting like a boy scout at the high school prom. It could be that the biggest impression that all of them brought back was the alleged encounters with ET's and or UFO sightings ... that have been subsequently supported, although with weak conviction, by Aldrin who is to the right of Armstrong.

Armstrong vibe

After looking at the Apollo 11 press conference video and seeing Armstrong searching his conscience for a way to express himself...go to the video attached to that called "Armstrong's Cryptic Speech" at the Whitehouse...if you have any doubt about a cover-up that involves extra terrestrial technology or related issues from his space voyages...you are not getting his "message". It has been said that 90% of communication is delivered and received by "body language". Armstrong is desperately trying to relay a message that says "The truth is being hidden from you" and I wish I could help.
