Hello All,
This is an interesting email sent to me ( here). I would like
to make an addition to it. In its most simplest form, being
"free" is
the ability to completely provide for yourself, all NEEDS met,
independently, without interference from another entity. It
should be
obvious to even the most simplest of minds that this is unattainable
here in America.
What do you think would happen if you decided to be "free"? I
will
create the basic scenario of freedom. Move yourself and
family to a
piece of public/empty land. Somewhere "out of the way" so you can
unplug from the system...pick a place. Build yourself a nice
little
log cabin with the trees on that land. Plant a garden. Kill
game and
fish as needed. Reminiscent of "Little house on the prairie"
isn't it?
Can anyone claim that the Engals weren't totally free?
What would we run into if we tried that today?

Medicare's
trustees said the program is on track to go bankrupt in 15 years --
seven years sooner than previously projected -- reflecting soaring
health-care costs and changes ordered by Congress and the White House.

The government-run health-care program also will start paying out
more
than it is taking in as soon as this year, compared with last year's
estimate of 2013, according to the Medicare trustees' annual report for
2004. The outlook for Social Security remained unchanged.

U.N. Aims to Bring Spam 'Epidemic' to End
By SAM CAGE
ASSOCIATED PRESS
GENEVA (AP) - The United Nations is aiming to bring a "modern day epidemic" of junk e-mail under control within the next two years by standardizing of legislation around the world to make it easier prosecute, a leading expert said Tuesday.
"(We have) an epidemic on our hands that we need to learn how to control," Robert Horton, the acting chief of the Australian communications authority, told reporters. "International cooperation is the ultimate goal."
When Chad Taylor noticed his son was apparently experiencing serious side effects from Ritalin prescribed for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, he decided to take the boy off the medication. Now, he says he may be accused of child abuse.

The Marine's Tale:
By Natasha Saulnier
The Independent - UK
5-23-4
- During 12 years in the US Marines, including three years putting new recruits through boot camp, Staff Sergeant Jimmy Massey hardly questioned his role. But what he saw in Iraq changed that.
-
- "In a month and a half my platoon and I killed more than 30 civilians," Mr Massey said. He saw bodies being desecrated and robbed, and wounded civilians being dumped by the roadside without medical treatment. After he told his commanding officer that he felt "we were committing genocide", he was called a "wimp".

Microsoft has been granted a patent on the double-click by the US Patents and Trademark Office. The patent, number 6,727,830, was granted on April 27.
An abstract of the application says: "A method and system are provided for extending the functionality of application buttons on a limited resource computing device. Alternative application functions are launched based on the length of time an application button is pressed. A default function for an application is launched if the button is pressed for a short, i.e., normal, period of time.

"I haven't seen my daughter for five years."
Shouting these words, an English protester hit British Prime Minister Tony Blair with a packet of purple flour as Blair answered questions on the floor of the House of Commons a few days ago. A somewhat panicked parliamentary session was quickly suspended.
The aggrieved father, Ron Davis, and his fellow protester, Guy Harrison, are part of a nonviolent resistance campaign launched by the popular English fathers' rights group Fathers 4 Justice. The group uses purple because purple is the international color of equality. Their purpose is to combat the greatest social injustice in the Anglo-American world today
-- the way decent, loving fathers are driven out of their children's lives after divorce or separation.
Their campaign has included daring, highly publicized protests atop cranes, bridges, and government buildings, as well as demonstrations and court occupations.

One of the first things (if not THE first thing) to happen at the unveiling of a movie called 'passion of the christ' was for it to be accused of being antisemitic and racistic.
What happens in the movie could be briefly explained as: a politically unstable country encounters a person who preaches the end for government, money, death, hypocrisy and ultimately stopping all wicked behaviour on any level. The people in charge of the country see him as a pest to be removed, for they want to continue with their lucrative business(es) and earn more money and power. They have him removed.

The EU Council of Ministers is demonstrating that the concept of democracy is alien to the EU. This Wednesday, the Irish Presidency managed to secure a qualified majority for a counter-proposal to the software patents directive, with only a few countries - including Belgium and Germany - showing resistance. The new text proposes to discard all the amendments from the European which would limite patentability. Instead the lax language of the original Commission proposal is to be reinstated in its entirety, with direct patentability of computer programs, data structures and process descriptions added as icing on the cake. The proposal is now scheduled to be confirmed without discussion at a meeting of ministers on 17-18 May, unless one of the Member States changes its vote. In a remarkable sign of unity in times of imminent elections, members of the European Parliament from all groups across the political spectrum are condemning this blatant disrespect for democracy in Europe.
Sounds to be in sync with the global elites' plans for the totalitarian global government they are encforcing...

Christ's Apostle Paul (who founded St. Paul's Cathedral on Ludgate Hill) told every woman that she should have her head covered. So the head-scarf is a command to Christian women from God and not only to Muslim women.
Quote and use the Word of God in your mission, for God, instead of your own words:-
1 Corinthians 11:5 But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with [her] head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven [as a sign of her disgrace].
11:6 For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.
11:7 For a man indeed ought not to cover [his] head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.
11:8 For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man.
11:9 Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.
11:10 For this cause ought the woman to have a covering on her head, as a sign that she is under the power of her husband because of the angels.
11:11 Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord.
11:12 For as the woman [is] of the man, even so [is] the man also by the woman; but all things by God.
11:13 Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered?
11:14 Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him (except when he has taken the vow of the Nazarite - Numbers 6)?
11:15 But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for [her] hair is given her for a covering.
11:16 But if any man seem to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither the community of God.
Amen,
JAH
